Connecticut’s Public Act No. 25-159 links DUI and BUI penalties so that a conviction for impaired driving can suspend boating privileges and a BUI conviction can suspend a driver’s license. This reciprocal enforcement takes effect October 1, 2025, and applies through the 2026 boating season.
