Did guests need experience?
Not at all. No experience needed, our crew sets up first-timers all the time and gets you riding safely. All skill levels are welcome, from total beginners to seasoned riders, and we dial the coaching to wherever you're at.
What's included with a charter or lesson?
A clean, well-maintained MasterCraft wake boat, your captain and spotter, all the gear you need, and a quick rundown before you head out. You just bring sunscreen, a towel, and a sense of adventure.
Can I still book a session with Lakeside?
Choose your experience and time on our booking page and confirm, we follow up to lock in the details. Booking takes just a few minutes, with no phone tag and no hassle. You can also reach out to us directly with any questions before you book.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't right on the water, we'll reschedule your session at no hassle. Summer weather on Candlewood Lake can shift quickly, so we keep an eye on it and stay in touch with you as your day approaches.
Is this good for kids? What ages can join?
Yes, tubing and cruises are all-ages favorites, and families ride with us all season. Kids are welcome aboard, and we always want a parent or guardian along for younger guests. If you have a specific age or activity in mind, just ask when you book and we'll set it up appropriately.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, a hat, and something warm for cooler evening cruises. Wear a swimsuit or clothes you don't mind getting wet, and pack water and snacks if you'd like. We provide the boat, safety gear, and watersports equipment.
How big can my group be?
Our sessions work for everything from a solo lesson to a group of friends or family. Group capacity depends on the boat and the experience, so tell us your headcount when you reach out and we'll confirm what fits and recommend the best option for your crew.
Where do we meet on the lake?
We're based at 227 Candlewood Lake Rd, Brookfield, CT, and we run across all five lake towns. We confirm your exact meeting point when you book so you know precisely where to go the day of your session.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens and the weather doesn't always cooperate. Reach out as early as you can and we'll work with you to reschedule. Full booking and cancellation details are on our policies page, or just get in touch and we'll walk you through it.
