Book a Watersports Day Near Candlewood Lake
Lakeside Watersports is closed for the 2026 season. For wakeboarding, wakesurfing, tubing, and pontoon charters, we now recommend our partner Connecticut Water Sports on nearby Lake Lillinonah — about 10–15 minutes from Candlewood.
A quick note from Lakeside
Lakeside Watersports spent years getting Candlewood Lake families out on the water. We're closed for the 2026 season — but we don't want to leave anyone without a great day on the lake.
So we're sending you to our partner, Connecticut Water Sports. They run guided wakeboarding, wakesurfing, tubing, and pontoon charters on Lake Lillinonah in New Milford — the next lake over from Candlewood, about 10–15 minutes away. A similar lake-day experience, expert captains, and one of the most-reviewed watersports operations in the state.
How to reach them: Their website is connwatersports.com, or call/text 860-295-4640.
Where: Connecticut Water Sports is at 143 West St, New Milford, CT — about 10–15 minutes from Lakeside’s previous Candlewood Lake location.
If they miss your call — they're often out on the water — they'll follow up as soon as they can. When you reach out, let them know Lakeside Watersports sent you. It helps us both.
