Working here

The best summer job on the lake.

Lakeside Watersports is a small, local crew that takes the water seriously and has a lot of fun doing it. A season with us means real days on Candlewood Lake, helping guests get up on a board for the first time, spotting riders, and keeping every trip smooth and safe. It's hard, sun-soaked, rewarding work for people who'd rather be on the water than anywhere else. We hire for attitude and reliability as much as skill; if you're dependable, good with people, and love the lake, we want to hear from you.

Open roles

Where you might fit in.

Boat Drivers & Captains

Run the boat for sessions and cruises, launching, navigating, and reading the lake. Requires real on-water experience and the right credentials.

Spotters

Keep eyes on every rider and signal the captain. A great way to break into working on the water and learn the ropes from the crew.

Watersports Instructors

Coach wakeboarding, wakesurfing, waterskiing, and tubing. For confident riders who love teaching and making first-timers' days.

What we look for in a crew member.

Great with people. You make nervous first-timers feel at ease and keep the energy fun all day.
Comfortable on the water. A strong swimmer who loves the lake, with credentials to match the role.
