Cancellation Policy
Plans change, we get it. Here's exactly how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work at Lakeside Watersports, so there are no surprises when you book.
How cancellations work.
Fair to you, fair to our crew and schedule.
Rescheduling & cancellation terms
All Lakeside Watersports bookings required a 50% deposit, and cancellations or reschedules were handled online. The policy below is kept for reference from our operating years., Insert the full, final cancellation and rescheduling terms here. Include the notice window required to reschedule or cancel without a fee, how deposits are handled, whether refunds or credits are issued, and any same-day or no-show terms. Do not publish this page until this section reflects the exact live policy.
To reschedule
Reschedule requests needed at least 5 days notice and we moved the booking to another open slot. Requests inside 5 days could carry a fee, since a reserved prime slot could not be resold., Explain how far in advance a guest must reach out to move their session, and how to do it (call, text, or email).
To cancel
Deposits were 100% refundable (minus fees) when cancelled at least 5 days before a session. Inside 5 days the deposit was non-refundable, and same-day or day-before bookings were fully non-refundable., Explain the cancellation window, any fees, and how refunds or credits are issued.
Weather cancellations
If we cancel for unsafe conditions, you won't be penalized, we'll reschedule at no hassle. See our weather policy.
No-shows & late arrivals
A no-show forfeited the session. If Lakeside cancelled before a session began, guests received a full refund or a reschedule, and a mid-session cancellation earned a prorated refund., Explain how late arrivals and no-shows are handled, including any impact on session time or fees.
